A magazine published by al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula — said to be one of the most dangerous of the terror splinter groups — has printed an article giving hints to would-be jihadis on the best ways to kill Americans.
Attack a random restaurant in Washington, D.C. to kill potential government employees, the magazine suggests. Or create the “Ultimate Mowing Machine” by driving a pick-up truck at high speed into a crowded sidewalk, “not to mow grass but to mow down enemies of Allah.”
The hints were spotted by SITE Intelligence Group, which tracks global terrorism financing. SITE says the tactics are part of a broader shift toward small, localized operations.
