The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit arrested three people after executing a search warrant at an address in the Overbrook area Friday.
After a search at 364 Donald St., police seized a .32-calibre semi-automatic handgun and ammunition, a stun gun, marijuana, $1,840 in cash, packaging material, a digital scale and contraband cigarettes.
Police charged three people for various criminal offences, including possession of weapon dangerous to public peace, unlicensed person possess unregistered firearm, possession of firearm knowing no authority, possession of prohibited/restricted weapon knowing no authority, possession of loaded regulated firearm, possession of firearm obtained by crime, possession of schedule II substance for trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.
Facing charges are Sean Lavigne, 18, Michael Lavigne, 18, and Suzanne Lavigne, 42.
