The Dalhousie Tigers will face the Calgary Dinos in the quarterfinals at the Canadian Interuniversity Sport men’s volleyball championship on Friday.

The Tigers, who just won their 24th straight Atlantic University Sport crown, head to Thomspon Rivers University in Kamloops, B.C., as the third seed. The Dinos, the sixth seed, went 13-5 this season and placed third in Canada West.

The Tigers are looking to improve upon last year’s fifth-place finish and first final appearance since 1997.

Two members of the Tigers were honoured as all-Canadians yesterday. Fourth-year outside hitter Sander Ratsep, already AUS most valuable player, cracked the first team, while fourth-year middle Max Burt made the second team.
