1 Robertson’s Houdini act in Game 2 of the ALDS — David Robertson had quite a postseason debut when he pitched the 11th inning vs. Minnesota. He loaded the bases with nobody out but kept the game tied and was the winning pitcher when Mark Teixeira homered. Afterward teammates referred to him as “Dave Houdini.”

2 A-Rod’s tying home run in Game 2 of the ALDS — The Yankees were three outs away from a 3-1 loss to the Twins but Alex Rodriguez took Joe Nathan long in the ninth to send it to extras. They wound up with a 4-3 11-inning victory.
