Police say a 22-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man were standing outside of their stopped vehicle on Kingston Road when they were struck by a minivan.

It's alleged the driver of the van failed to stop and that a witness called 911 and provided a licence number.

The driver was located a short time later and arrested for impaired driving.

The woman who was hit was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Vladimir Atlagic, 29, of Toronto, is charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm, driving over the legal blood-alcohol limit causing bodily harm and failing to stop causing bodily harm.
