The Washington Post published excerpts from a conversation in which Donald Trump brags about groping women because “when you’re a star, they let you do it.”
The conversation was recorded on a hot microphone in 2005, while Trump was speaking with Billy Bush of “Access Hollywood,” while the two were on the set of “Days of Our Lives.”
Trump is heard talking about trying to have sex with a married woman, while admitting he kisses women without their permission and gropes them with impunity.
“I’ve gotta use some tic tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says when a woman catches his attention.“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.” “Grab them by the p—y,” the now Republican presidential candidate is heard saying. “You can do anything.”
“This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close,” Trump said in a statement. “I apologize if anyone was offended.”
The second presidential debate will be held at 9 p.m. Sunday.
