A pair of Halifax men are facing drug charges after two residences were searched by police on Tuesday night.

A pair of Halifax men are facing drug charges after two residences were searched by police on Tuesday night.

Halifax Regional Police say the first search was conducted in the 5300 block of Inglis Street just after 9 p.m.

Police say marijuana, hash, psilocybin mushrooms, cash and other drug paraphernalia was seized.

The two men were arrested without incident

From information obtained in the first search, police say a second search was then conducted at a residence in the 1000 block of Tower Road, where a marijuana grow-op was discovered.

Over 100 marijuana plants were seized, police say, along with other marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and grow-op equipment.

William Clarke Irving, 26, and Isaac Christopher Schoeler, 27, are each facing three charges of drug trafficking in relation to the searches.

Schoeler is also facing an charge of drug production.

Both of the men appeared in Halifax provincial court yesterday.
