Two TD bank branches robbed

Banks on Innis Road and Richmond Road hit by suspects with similar descriptions

Two branches of TD Canada Trust were robbed Friday.

The TD Canada Trust Bank on Innis Road was robbed Friday night.

Police say a man walked into the bank just before 8 p.m., passed a note demanding money and left in a red mid-size SUV with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A weapon wasn't seen, nor was anyone hurt.

He's described as a black man in his early 20s, 5’4”-5’8”, short hair, medium build, clean shaven (possible faint moustache), wearing a purple T-shirt, black and red ball cap and blue jeans.

Earlier in the day, at about 5 p.m., a man made off with cash from the TD on Richmond Road.

In this case, police say, the suspect was described as a black man, 17-18 years, 5’6”-7”
tall with a skinny build and clean-shaven. He was wearing a navy blue
jersey under a royal blue hoodie.

The suspect may have red discoloration
on his hands and clothing.
