When visiting the Happiest Place on Earth, it’s often easy to forget that the people dressed as our favorite Disney characters are well, just normal people.
At Disneyland, Cinderella and Snow White are not actually princesses saved by Prince Charming. In reality they are colleagues. They probably commute to work, have lunch together and sometimes hit up a local happy hour for post-work cocktails.
Being actors, the cast members have to stay in character at all times. Who would you like to play for hours upon hours a day – a sweet, gentile princess or the evil queen?
Judging for the above video, it seem pretty fun to be the evil queen.
In the video shot at Disneyland an 8-year-old girl named Amelia asks the Evil Queen if she is “still jealous of Snow White.”
The Evil Queen’s dedication of staying in character and thoroughly explaining why there’s no reason to be jealous of Snow White is so perfect it might turn us into fans of the dark side of Disney.
