Gretchen Carlson, host of “The Real Story” on Fox News, did something on Friday that she says has “never happened before on cable news.”
She first teased the segment from her makeup room with her makeup artist standing next to her. Next, she appears on air with no makeup on. Her guest, Jodi Norgaard of Dream Big Toy Company, also went makeup-free to discuss how young girls are being sexualized in today’s society.
“Today is International Day of the Girl,” Carlson said. “So let’s look at positive role models in the fight to let girls be girls.”
