About Metro Photo Challenge 2014
Metro Photo Challenge was introduced 10 years ago in Sweden and ran globally for the first time in 2007. The contest has become a truly credible and important event for professional and amateur photographers alike. In 2013, 40,000 photographers submitted more than 120,000 photos. This makes Metro Photo Challenge the world’s largest photo competition.

The Metro Photo Challenge aims to connect people around the world through the universal language of photography and to reward photographers’ outstanding talent. Metro and its partners invite you to submit photos in one or more of the three city categories for a chance to become a Daily Winner, a Local Winner, a Public Voted Winner or a Global Grand Prize Winner. Three photos (one in each category) will be selected through the Public Vote and three photos (one in each category) will be selected by the Local Jury in each country. Those winners will be sent to the global finale. The Global Jury will then select three photos (one from each category) as Global Grand Prize Winners.
Metro Photo Challenge will run between Sept. 29 and Nov. 18, 2014. Local winners and global finalists will be announced Nov. 28, and the Global Grand Prize Winners will be announced Dec. 5. Visitwww.metrophotochallenge.comto learn more.
