Being a postal worker can be tough job. They must endure terrible weather, unruly homeowners and sometimes handle hazardous packages, all while making sure everything is delivered on time. And sometimes, they must evade vicious dogs who believe their property is being invaded.
But this mailman faced off against an unlikely foe when a cat decided to defend its territory by attacking his hands as he simply tried to put mail through a door slot.
As the mail carrier approaches the house, he says, “Kitty cat ready to do battle?” He has become familiar with the cat’s behavior, and this time he brought a camera to record the encounter.
In the cat’s defense, the mailman was delivering junk mail and bills, so we can understand the aggression.
