VIDEO: Tasteless or hilarious?: Miami prankster poses as zombie

A prankster capitalized on the media frenzy surrounding Rudy Eugene — the man shot by police after he was discovered eating another man’s face — by scrambling around dressed as a blood-thirsty zombie, and scaring the bejesus out of people in Miami.

Filmmaker Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, best known for his comedic web series “How to Pick Up Girls!,” staged his zombie prank in a city traumatized by the recent horrific face-chewing incident.

In the video, titled “Miami Zombie Attack Prank!,” Zdorovetskiy covered himself with fake blood and wore a microphone so the camera could pick up his growls and grunts. The camera operator caught the action, from a moving car as Zdorovetskiy flailed wildly towards unsuspecting Miami residents who fled in terror — all set to ominous music.

On the video’s description, Zdorovetskiy commented, “Very Dangerous Prank! Almost Got Shot at 2:00! DO NOT TRY IT!” For most of his stunt, people frantically ran from Zdorovetskiy, one young boy even climbing the fence of a basketball court to escape him. The fun came to an end, though, as a group of young men either caught on to the prank or banded together to stop the zombie, and turned on Zdorovetskiy, chasing him out of the frame.

You might catch yourself feeling guilty about chuckling over the video when you remember that Ronald Poppo, the victim of the real life face-eater, is still recovering after from having the majority of his face eaten off.
