Warrant issued in murder case

Calgary police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of a person in connection with a 2008 homicide.

Father of two, Daniel Levesque, 29, was found dead in his home in the 11400 block of Braniff Rd SW on June 29, 2008, in what police believe could have been a robbery.

He was not known to the Calgary Police Service, they said.

Earlier this year, Sheldon Worme of Calgary was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the case, and Tania Gaulin was arrested in February 2009 and charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree homicide, police said.

Aaron Lee Stevens, 25, is wanted for first-degree murder in the case.

Police believe he may be in the Edmonton or Lethbridge areas, as he has connections in both areas. They also said he may be in British Columbia.

According to police, Stevens may also go by the aliases: Nicholas George Stevens, Charlie Lloyd Breaker, A-Trey, Trey and Renn.

Police also said they believe more people could be involved with this homicide and are continuing to appeal to the public for more information.

Anyone with further information is asked to call 403-266-1234 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
