Do you need to know exactly when Daylight Saving Time is this year? Look no further.
At 2 a.m. on March 9, most Americans will have to set our clocks one hour forward to observe the beginning of Daylight Saving Time (DST). Standard time resumes on Nov. 2.
Arizona, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa do not observe Daylight Saving Time, so there’s no need to remind friends or family who live there.
Aside from setting your clocks and adjusting to an extra hour of sunlight, the National Fire Protection Association encourages everyone to check and test smoke detectors at home.
