Before you woke up this morning, Obama said the Ferguson cop shooter should be brought to justice, just don't ask him to tweet about it. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange isn't going anywhere.
Disney planned a sequel to its lucractive Frozen hit, and there was hope that the Apple Watch will increase the fortunes of gold.
Obama remained smart phone-free
The President revealed to Jimmy Kimmel that he isn't allowed to have an all-singing, all-dancing smart phone, for security reasons. He doesn't text or tweet, though one imagines he must write emails for work - but not from a personal account, of course.
Cops searched for a Ferguson cop shooter
Obama also said the person who shot two police officers at a demo at the police HQ in Ferguson, Missouri, should be brought to justice. State cops are leading the manhunt, presumably as bungling local police are in danger of incriminating themselves further after reports of systematic racism in the force...
Julian Assange stayed put
Prosecutors in the case against the WikiLeaks founder will interview him at Ecuador's London embassy, where he's been sheltering since he was first accused of sex crimes in Sweden in 2012. This is good news for him; if he is extradited to Sweden, he could then be extradited to the U.S. to face some pretty major allegations.
Disney announced Frozen sequel
Frozen mania is set to continue after Disney said it was working on a follow-up to the 2013 mega-hit. After raking in record profits with the first film, they would clearly be mad to have Let It Go.
Experts hoped Apple would make gold trendy
Apparently nobody in the U.S. is buying gold jewelry anymore. Experts are crossing their fingers that the new outlandishly priced gold Apple Watch will make it glamorous again.
