Waffle House is one of those rich veins in the deep mine of Americana. Even if you don’t live in the American south, you’ve certainly driven by it – or at least heard about it thanks to the restaurant being a nexus of, well,many things. This Waffle House story, for instance, features allegations ofa naked,rampaging woman throwing food. It ends witha broken nose and handcuffs.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Jennifer Mary Nicholson was arrested in connection with incident. Cops there in Cobb County, Ga., alleged thatNicholson threw multiple food platters – including at a Waffle House window, fellow patrons and a police officer – and punched a woman smack dab in the face, breaking her nose. RELATED: Police fish naked man out of Boston Harbor The AJC added that Nicholson’s arrest warrant stated she did so while “not wearing any clothes.” Food blog Eater reported that “once police approached her, Nicholson resisted arrest and scratched a police officer before finally being subdued.” Nicholson stands accused of a slew of charges, including aggravated battery, criminal damage to property, simple assault, obstruction, simple battery and public indecency.
It’s still unclear what her alleged motive was.
