This retail store is serious about cheese and offers a variety of comforting cheesy dishes for lunch every day from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
You can choose from two different soups, a few types of grilled cheese sandwiches and a couple of versions of mac and cheese. The mac and cheese comes in two sizes and after attempting to finish the 12 oz. serving, I would recommend trying the 8 oz. and enjoying a soup with it to reduce the richness.
The bacon in my mac and cheese added that perfect smoky flavour, but it could have been a little crisper. However, this bowl of comfort food did not disappoint. It was rich and creamy with a tasty blend of Gruyère and Gouda plus a hint of truffle.
A perfect grilled cheese with cheddar, Gouda and thick Black Forest ham rounded out my satisfying meal at this little lunch spot.
