Mark Osborne

Mark Osborne is the National Sports Editor for Metro, based in New York. He oversees the direction of Sports in all three cities and edits the New York section on a full-time basis. He started at Metro as a web producer in the infancy of this site. Mark received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut. Yes, it's cold there. Yes, it's in the middle of nowhere. And yes, all we care about is basketball. He roots for all things Huskies even though Jim Calhoun once ripped him about a column via phone call. The list: Yankees, Browns, Nets, Rangers. He is a proud native of southeastern Connecticut, born and raised, and now resides in Brooklyn.
