Police said they arrested the man who allegedly attacked 12 women on the Upper East Side and Upper West Side.
Cops said Jose Alfredo Perez Hernandez, 18, was arrested Monday after a man tipped them off.
A superintendent reportedly recognized the man as a café worker from his building, told police, and they tracked his cell phone number to a Queens apartment.
The man snuck up behind women and groped them, creating fear uptown among walkers and joggers.
