TV Watch List: Thursday, April 28

Michael Scott (Steve Carell) leaves "The Office."

‘The Office’
COMEDY. Michael, being Michael, will inevitably be disappointed in whatever sendoff party the Scranton branch throws their lovable loser boss. (He just doesn’t seem to understand that fireworks aren’t appropriate for every occasion, does he?) Of course that won’t come close to our disappointment in seeing Steve Carell leave this series, but at least there’s a long list of slated guest stars — including Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, Ray Romano, James Spader and Catherine Tate — to potentially take over his office, if not his bumbling managing style.
9 p.m., NBC

‘American Idol’
REALITY. You’re still voting/care who gets eliminated on “American Idol” tonight? That’s so last week. The hip new singing competition is “The Voice” now. (We’re kidding. Sort of.)
8 p.m., Fox

‘The Big Bang Theory’
COMEDY. Sheldon goes dancing, which sounds about as graceful to watch as this season’s “Dancing with the Stars.”
8 p.m., CBS
