10 Reasons to cool off in a movie theater this weekend

Tigger, Kanga, Roo, Owl, Rabbit, Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore star in the second-most anticipated movie of the weekend, “Winnie the Pooh.”

1 ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2’ There’s no doubt that Harry Potter is going to rule this weekend’s box office with his wizarding. The final installment of the franchise pits Potter against his life-long nemesis, the creepily noseless Lord Voldemort.

2 ‘Winnie the Pooh’ No 3-D or computer animation in this super-sweet new Pooh movie — just a purely delightful little film set in the Hundred Acre Wood.

3 ‘Horrible Bosses’ No one likes working for a man-eater, psychopath or total jerk — but only a few of us would actually embark on eliminating said bosses. Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day and Jason Bateman star as three hard-working men who attempt to do just that.

4 ‘Zookeeper’
Fans of Kevin James will likely enjoy his romp around a Boston zoo, where talking animals give him dating advice.

5 ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ Michael Bay has paid for the sins of the last “Transformers” film with this straightened-out sequel, which features fight scenes where you can actually see what’s going on.

6 ‘Larry Crowne’
It’s nice to see Tom Hanks do something funny after so many dour films. As “Crowne,” he’s a down-on-his-luck good guy trying to rebuild his life by going to community college.

7 ‘Monte Carlo’
Leighton Meester, Katie Cassidy and Selena Gomez star in this tweenified story of three girls traveling in Paris who are whisked away to Monte Carlo when one of them is mistaken for a British heiress.

8 ‘Cars 2’
Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy return to voice Lightning McQueen and Mater as they head to the World Prix Grand race.

9 ‘Bad Teacher’ “Bad Teacher,” “Horrible Bosses” … apparently we’re having a bit of an employment crisis in Hollywood. This one stars Cameron Diaz as a lazy junior high teacher who decides to get her act together to woo a hot new colleague (Justin Timberlake).

10 ‘Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop’ If you’re not sick of Conan O’Brien making jokes about last year’s NBC drama, then you need to see this no-holds-barred account of the comedy tour he went on once he lost his “Tonight Show” spot to Jay Leno.
