Prince William (Dan Amboyer) introduces Queen Elizabeth II to Catherine Middleton (Alice St. Clair) at his African-themed 21st birthday party in “A Royal Romance.”

‘William & Catherine: A Royal Romance’
MOVIE. For those of you who somehow missed the wedding of the year — or, more likely, for those who woke up at dawn to catch the royal nuptials — comes this fictionalized tale of the rather innocuous courtship of Prince William and Catherine Middleton.
Premiere, Saturday, 9 p.m., Hallmark

‘I Just Want My Pants Back’
PREVIEW. Doug Liman (“Swingers”) dramatizes the life of Brooklyn hipsters for MTV, because Brooklyn hipsters haven’t had a reason to tune in and complain about MTV for a while. The network offers this sneak peek after Sunday’s VMAs; the series officially premieres in early 2012.
Sunday, 11 p.m., MTV

‘True Blood’
DRAMA. So on Sunday’s episode, the guy witch and his medium boyfriend team up with the faerie to take down the evil female witch who’s holding humans hostage and wants to destroy all vampires while a bunch of werewolves fight over leadership issues. If anyone really knows what’s going on this season, let us know, OK?
9 p.m., HBO
