Who got kicked off ‘Dancing with the Stars’ last night? Eliabetta Canalis!

The woman America loved to not-know-who-she-is has finally left “Dancing with the Stars.”

Elisabetta Canalis, the Italian actress whose DWTS stardom came sexually-transmitted from George Clooney, (the couple dated from 2009 until earlier this year) was kicked off the reality show last night  after her quickstep failed to move the judges or the American people.

Part of America’s distate for Canalis surely sprang from their unfamiliarity with her, as well as the perception that she was not truly a “star.” (Yes, it’s easy to make fun of the D-Listers DWTS trots out as stars, but many viewers have at least a token amount of familiarity with them.)

When you combine that with the villain-edit the show’s producers gave her — watch the video below and tell us if you’ve ever seen a DWTS contestant painted with so negative a brush — and it’s not hard to see why American viewers didn’t exactly fall in love with her.

Now that she’s gone, who do you think will win? Our money is on Nancy Grace’s boobs.

Video of Canalis’ final performance below:
