Uh, Troy (Donald Glover, left), and Abed (Danny Pudi) — that's not exactly "acting normal."

‘Community
COMEDY. Class is back in session at Greendale Community College as this sitcom (finally) returns with new episodes. Tonight, Andre (guest star Malcolm Jamal Warner) proposes that he and Shirley remarry, which leads Troy and Abed to train to be “normal” for the occasion. Of course, absurd is what these guys do best; take our quiz on some of the strangest (and funniest!) “Community” storylines of the last three seasons.

Missing
DRAMA. Ashley Judd returns to acting with this thriller, and she’s not phoning it in — as a former CIA agent who scours Europe in search of her missing son, Judd performs most of her own stunts, including showcasing her badassery in more than a few fights.
Series premiere, 8 p.m., ABC

Jersey Shore
REALITY. The housemates pack up and leave another season of the shore behind them, but not before The Situation tries to stir up more drama and Pauly D and Vinny attempt to pull one last prank. Is it hiding the spray tan?

Awake
DRAMA. Seriously? As if it’s not bad enough that in one reality, Britten’s son is dead, now in the reality in which his son lives, the kid gets kidnapped?
10 p.m., NBC

Sweet Genius
REALITY. Master pastry chefs compete in challenges that include concocting confections out of a spicy drink mix. Whatever happened to Duncan Hines cake mix?
