America’s angry at Michael Bay over his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles remake

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were shocked when they read in a magazine that director Michael Bay wanted to change the story line of the film. They didn't even want to order pizza after.

Director and movie-hotshot Michael Bay is about to destroy millions of peoples’ childhood memories.

The man behind movies like “Transformers” recently said he would remake “The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” film, but instead of sticking to the original storyline, he wants to change the origin of the giant, 6-foot ninja reptiles.

In Bay’s adaptation, he thinks it would make more sense if the turtles came from outer space, rather than becoming mutants from touching green-glowing radioactive ooze in underground sewers.

“When you see this movie, kids are going to believe one day these turtles actually do exist when we are done with this movie,” said Bay as he took the stage to discuss his new vision for the reptilian reboot, according to CNN.com. “These turtles are from an alien race, and they are going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely loveable.”

But fans of the original film (and even the comic books) are outraged by Bay’s proposal to crush their childhood memories.

Thousands of people took to Twitter to blast the movie-maker, while others started a petition to reject the idea behind the new film.

“F*** you Michael Bay U [sic]  F******* f*****!,” wrote  Louis D’Amore on the petition “Say No to Mutant Aliens” started on ipetition.com.

Others chimed in with comments like “just come to my house and piss all over everything I loved as a kid.”

A top actor from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie even blasted Bay on TMZ.com.

According to them, the guy who voiced Michelangelo in the original said Bay was “sodomizing” the film.
