TV picks: Monday, June 4

From left: Mia Schaikewitz, Auti Angel, Angela Rockwood and Tiphany Adams are the "Push Girls."

“Push Girls”
REALITY. There are some (scratch that — many) unscripted shows that have given reality TV a bad name. Then there are series that document the lives of everyday people doing extraordinary things. “Push Girls” is the latter, a show chronicling a group of wheelchair-bound friends leading lives more adventurous and fulfilling than most anyone. It’s educating and inspiring — and one of the rare breeds of must-see reality TV.
Series premiere, 10 p.m., Sundance Channel

“The Real Housewives of New York City”
REALITY. Three new Housewives join the fray in Manhattan: Carole Radziwill, an author who counts the Kennedys among her in-laws; Aviva Drescher, a socialite stay-at-home mom; and Heather Thomson, the creator of the shapewear line Yummie Tummie.
Season premiere, 9 p.m., Bravo

“Hell’s Kitchen” / “Masterchef”
REALITY. Feel better about burning the burgers over the weekend by watching celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay berate cooks whose skills are more polished than yours (or at least are supposed to be) on “Hell’s Kitchen” (8 p.m.). Then at 9, Gordon is joined at the judges table by restaurant pros Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot in search of the country’s top kitchen amateur on “Masterchef.”
Season premiere, 8 and 9 p.m., Fox
