Wednesday gossip roundup: Supermodel Erin Heatherton is Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend

Model Erin Heatherton walks the runway during the 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show at the Lexington Avenue Armory on November 9.

Lindsay Lohan‘s car accident last weekend is getting more complicated, as it’s now being reported that police confiscated a plastic bottle filled with alcohol from Lohan’s rented Porsche, according to TMZ. The bottle was apparently found in the car’s trunk, though sources point out it could have been placed there after the crash. Police seem to be giving Lohan the benefit of the doubt, however, as they’re not charging her with any open container violations. The troubled actress also reportedly had no alcohol in her system at the time of the accident.

David Arquette after nearly two years of separation, David Arquette has finally filed for divorce from Courteney Cox, according to TMZ. The papers, however, list the official date of separation as December 31, 2011. Arquette apparently signed the papers in March but held off on submitting them until Tuesday, which would have been the couple’s 13th anniversary. Arquette cited irreconcilable differences in the filing, and though he’s asking for joint legal and physical custody of their 8-year-old daughter, Coco, he has not asked for spousal or child support. Arquette also plans to represent himself in the proceeding.

Jennifer Love Hewitt‘s run-in last week with Josh Hutcherson at a drag queen-hosted bingo night at a West Hollywood bar prompted speculation that the single actress was putting the moves on the young “Hunger Games” star, but their meeting was purely coincidental, according to Oh No They Didn’t. Hewitt’s rep insists the two are mere acquaintances and that Hewitt is a regular at the bingo night, while Hutcherson was there as a honorary celebrity guest.

Leonardo DiCaprio appears to be serious about his latest girlfriend, Victoria’s Secret model Erin Heatherton, whom he’s been dating long-distance since December, according to Us Weekly. Though he followed up filming “the Great Gatsby” in Australia by heading straight to New Orleans for Quentin Tarantino‘s “Django Unchained,” DiCaprio has been making more time for Heatherton lately, hitting the town in New York. They were spotted mooning over one another at the restaurant Candela earlier this week. And just last week, the pair hit up New York hotspot the Darby. “They showed up hand-in-hand,” a source says. “They were acting like a couple all night.”

A naked, ranting man was arrested outside the Hollywood Hills home that Orlando Bloom shares with his wife, Miranda Kerr, and their 1-year-old son, Flynn, according to the New Zealand Herald. The man was found face-down in the street and yelling incoherently, but when police approached he jumped head-first into the bushes. He was eventually subdued and taken away, though his identity is still unknown. Other residents in the area include Will Ferrell, Jason Statham and Charlize Theron.

The apparent romantic rekindling between Richie Sambora and Denise Richards is apparently off, it turns out, according to Celebuzz.  “They’re done,” a source says. “They’ve always stayed friends through everything they’ve gone through. Sambora and Richards first dated in 2006 after splitting from their respective exes, Heather Locklear and Charlie Sheen.
