Dine to make a difference

Gwynett is participating in Dine Out Williamsburg

Through Sunday, slurp down a Rally Shake at Shake Shack ($5.50, multiple locations, www.shakeshack.com). Two dollars from each will go to the Red Cross.

One dollar from every chicken and pork box sold this month at Pies-n-Thighs (166 S. Fourth St., Brooklyn, 347-529-6090) will go to the Red Cross.

Until Nov. 11, drop off a blanket at any Meatball Shop location (www.themeatballshop.com) for a free order of — well, they call them Naked Balls.

The Sandy Support cocktail being served at all ONE Group restaurants (Asellina, STK, Bagatelle) is a mix of lime, ginger beer and candied ginger and soda. A portion of proceeds from the drink served at all ONE Group restaurants nationwide will go toward Sandy relief.

Restaurants participating in Thursday’s Dine Out Williamsburg for Sandy Relief will give 10-20 percent of today’s sales to the Red Cross. The list of participants can be found at
www.dineoutwilliamsburg.com/participants.

Show support

Guy’s American Kitchen and Bar (220 W. 44th St., 646-532-4897) is donating 50 percent of all proceeds on Monday and Tuesday to the Red Cross.

Carmine’s (2450 Broadway, 212-362-2200 and 200 W. 44th St., 212-221-3800) will donate $1 to the Red Cross Hurricane Sandy relief effort for each Carmine’s Cares cocktail (Absolut Orient apple, ginger liqueur, cranberry and lemon) purchased now through Tuesday. The restaurant will match the total amount raised.

Cozy spot Queens Kickshaw (40-17 Broadway, Astoria, 718-777-0913) will be donating all of Thursday’s profits to Sandy relief efforts via the Red Cross. They’re open until just before midnight, so there’s plenty of time to go.

Russ & Daughters has teamed up with the Astor Center for a tasting of champagne and cocktails paired with appetizers. One hundred percent of ticket sales to tonight’s event ($45) will go to the Red Cross. Visit www.astorcenternyc.com for tickets.

Tasting Table Test Kitchen & Dining Room is hosting an open bar and dinner fundraiser on Nov. 14, with all ticket sales ($100) going to the Food Bank for New York City. Tickets are at http://tastingtablehurricanerelief.eventbrite.com/#.

Proceeds from Sunday’s four-course dinner at Park Avenue Autumn (11 E. 63rd St., 212-644-1900) will be donated to Point Pleasant, N.J., chef Kevin Lasko’s hometown. The suggested donation is $150 and includes wine pairings.

If you’ve got lots to spare, consider bidding on “Support After Sandy: A Charitybuzz Auction to Rebuild the East Coast,” a dinner for 10 at the chef’s table at ABC Kitchen (35 E. 18th St., 212-475-5829) hosted by Jean-Georges (pictured). The dinner, a $15,000 value, benefits Feeding America. The auction closes Nov. 29. Details are at www.charitybuzz.com.

If you book an event before Dec. 1 at Little Town NYC (both locations), Hudson Terrace, SideBAR or the Village Pourhouse, 10 percent of proceeds will be donated. To get started, email info@funbars.com.

Throughout the month, ESquared Hospitality’s New York City restaurants BLT Bar & Grill, BLT Fish, BLT Burger and Casa Nonna will be donating 5 percent of gross sales (up to $50,000) to help Sandy victims.
