If you haven’t already heard that Katy Perry is releasing a new album this fall, you need to let us know your secrets for hiding from this sort of info.

The singer announced through practically every single medium but skywriting, that she will release “Prism” on Oct. 22.

But none of Perry’s methods of communicating this information are safe from some sort of sabotage. Facebook feeds may go unchecked, maybe not everybody will happen to log onto iTunes today and see the surprise new single on the store and sometimes drunk drivers crash into the giant gold truck that says “Katy Perry * Prism * 10.22.13” that you hired to park outside of Walmart.

According to TMZ, this last bit of trouble besieged Perry on Friday when the huge truck in question was parked near a truck stop in Pennsylvania. According to reports, nobody was hurt. Maybe Perry’s pride was wounded a little bit though. Perhaps the universe is cautioning her not to release this album? Or maybe the drunk driver just got distracted by the pretty shiny gold?
