TV Watch List: Monday, Aug. 12

Meet a whole new crop of teen moms tonight.
Meet a whole new crop of teen moms tonight.

Metro’s breakdown of your Monday night TV.

‘MythBusters: Breaking Bad Special’
SPECIAL. As virtually the entire country readies themselves for the collective period of depression we’re all going to fall into following the end of “Breaking Bad,” the MythBusters ring in the very last season with a special that investigates the chemistry of some of the show’s most intense episodes.
10 p.m, DSC

‘The Real Housewives of Orange County: Reunion’
REALITY. In the first of a two-part reunion special (there are just too many important matters to discuss, they can’t fit it all into one hour!) the OC ladies rehash all their old drama. We’re anticipating much heaving of wrinkled, surgically enhanced décolletage, sobbing and shrill, nonsensical screaming.
8 p.m., BRAVO

‘The Real Housewives of Miami’
REALITY. Bravo, the revolving door of exploitative (but awesome) reality television, ushers in a new season of the Miami housewives right on the heels of the Orange County reunion. The Miami ladies are essentially carbon copies of the OC ladies — except they have dark hair and fiery Latina tempers (same fake boobs though).
9 p.m., BRAVO

‘Catching Up with the Girls of Teen Mom 3’
REALITY. Speaking of exploitative reality TV, all Bravo shows pale in comparison to MTV’s “Teen Mom,” which documents the pregnancies and subsequent depressing lives of largely underprivileged and uneducated young girls. In this special, the smarmy Dr. Drew catches up with the moms from the show’s third season (someone stop this, please), premiering Aug. 26.
11 p.m., MTV
