What’s available beyond the big platforms? Plug into these five games

The Elder Scrolls Anthology
“The Elder Scrolls Anthology” is a gorgeously-produced box set with all five games, official add-ons and five physical maps detailing the worlds of Morrowind, Tamriel and Skyrim.

Here are the other big games this holiday season — available beyond the big platforms.

“Angry Birds Go!”
Angry Birds creator Rovio takes a page from the “Mario Kart” playbook, porting Red, Chuck, Bomb and Bubbles (and their pig nemeses) into a racing game, where you can blast one another using special power-ups. Kids who buy Telepods —physical playsets, found in toy stores — can import their characters, as well. Free.

“Dice +”
Trying to bring the board game back, “Dice+” does so digitally, The small cube looks like a die but with illuminated numbers instead of dots. Roll it, it lights up and sends messages — via Bluetooth — to a game on your iPad. “Powered” board games include backgammon, a pirate adventure and the Twister-with-fingers “Rumble Stumble.” $39.99, Dicepl.us

“The Elder Scrolls Anthology”
Dan Harmon, creator of “Community,” is a fan. The latest edition sold 20 million copies. And one player named her child Dovahkiin, as part of a contest. The role-playing Elder Scrolls series has a devoted following, and if you know a fellow Stormcloak, they’d appreciate this. It’s a gorgeously-produced box set with all five games, official add-ons and five physical maps detailing the worlds of Morrowind, Tamriel and Skyrim. PC, $79.99

“iPad Arcade Stand”
It’s the dream of every “Silver Spoons” fan: Arcade games right in your home. Now it’s a reality, if you own an iPad. Plug it into the iCade and the joystick works, via Bluetooth, with classic games like “Pac-Man,” “Centipede,” “Asteroids” and 500 more. And even though it looks small, the controls are full-sized. Quarters and roller rink not included. $100, ionaudio.com.

“Tearaway”
Set in a land made of paper people, paper trees and paper tigers, this adventure, for the handheld PlayStation Vita, channels that classic Daffy Duck cartoon, where the artist erases him. You tap the back of the device and your finger appears to burst through the action — or swipe the screen and unfurl a bridge. It’s from the creators of “Little Big Planet” and has that game’s all-ages whimsy. $39.99
