Of Montreal added to Escape to New York lineup
Bill already includes Patti Smith, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Vaccines, Psychedelic Furs, Beast Coast, Chairlift, Au Revoir Simone and more

Promoters say you might see cool and weird things like this at the Escape to New York festival.
The three-day E2NY event in Shinnecock Nation land adjacent to Southampton just got a little bit more interesting.
Promoters for the festival, which takes place August 5th through 7th, announced this morning that the Sunday lineup will include Of Montreal, The Jolly Boys, Mates of State, Reptar, Tiger Love and Savoir Adore.
Friday and Saturday performers, which had already been announced include:
Friday, August 5: Patti Smith, Best Coast, Chairlift, Lissy Trulie, The Postelles, Static Jacks
Saturday, August 6: Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Vaccines, The Psychedelic Furs, White Rabbits, Au Revoir Simone, The Submarines, Graffiti 6
The festival is billing itself as somewhat of an alternative to most American music festivals, taking its cue from European fests.
“Our goal is turn upside down the conventional music festival experience and recreate it in a way that makes each and every attendee walk away feeling they just had an incredibly unexpected and amazing VIP experience from the moment they entered our gates all the way through to when they pack up to return to their regular lives”, said Escape to New York Executive Producer, Fred Fellowes in a statement.
