Halloween isn’t just for kids.  This year get spooked, get educated and get partying at haunted happenings.

1. Flashlight Tours at Laurel Hill Cemetery

Step into the realm between living and dead as your tour guide takes you through the famous Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pack your own flashlight and prepare yourself to run into a spirit or two during your tour through the eerie grounds.

2. Ghosts + Goblins Party

Now in its fourth year, this party at the Manayunk Brewery offers VIP-only access to the second-floor bar if waiting for drinks isn’t your idea of a killer time. Be sure to dress up — there are prizes for the most creative and creepy costumes.

3. Watson Adventures Scavenger Hunt

Test your clue-solving abilities, tour the city and make friends with a few of Philly’s most intriguing ghosts in this grown-up scavenger hunt. The Watson Adventure team, which hosts similar hunts in several major cities, will turn Old City into a playfully haunted area for you to scour in search of clues. On our must-find list: the ghost of one Benjamin Franklin.

4. Terror Behind the Walls

Eastern State Penitentiary is celebrating 20 years of their super creepy haunted house with two new attractions: A massive maze dubbed “The Gauntlet” and “Break Out,” a freaky outdoor finale. That’s in addition, of course, to their gigantic haunted prison.
