This weekend – hell, this entire last week – might well be one of the most overwhelming, surreal, stressful, harrowing, [insert adjective to describe any one of the hundreds of emotions experienced while following the manhunt in Watertown on Friday in real time] roller coaster rides that the people of Boston have experienced in a very long time. Maybe ever. Now it’s time for the the city to rebuild, recoup, and figure out how to process all those aforesaid emotions. Getting our collective groove back with of one of this town’s long-running music institutions seems as a good a place as any to start. We just got word that the 2013 Rock ‘n’ Roll Rumble Semifinals Night #2, postponed from Friday night, has been rescheduled for Monday, April 22. Adjust your calendars accordingly. One of the first of the many show canceled or postponed this week to reschedule, tomorrow evening’s battle is the penultimate Rumble event before the big finals showdown on Friday, April 26. After having our collective world rocked this past week, we’re thinking kicking off a fresh new one with a rager like this might be more than a little therapeutic. Set times and details below, see you in the rock thunderdome:
