Saturday May 3, 2-7 P.M.
Sweetwater Social, 643 Broadway

Kentucky Derby live at Wythe Cinema

Enjoy the race on the big screen in Wythe Cinema. Reynard Chef Sean Rembold will be serving Derby-inspired food, so bring your appetite. After the race there will be a screening of the documentary “Breadcrump Trail” about legendary underground band Slint, which has roots in Louisville.

Saturday May 3, 5.30 P.M.

Kentucky Derby festivities at ’21′ Club

Eat classic Kentucky-inspired bites at ’21.’ Try the cornmeal-fried oysters with remoulade, shrimp and grits or maybe the mini Derby pecan pie. There’ll also be some special race cocktails to enjoy for the evening. But don’t get too wild — this is the ’21′ Club! Jackets are required if you stay for dinner beginning 7 P.M.

Saturday May 3, 3.30-5.30 P.M.
21 Club, 21 W. 52nd St.

Kentucky Derby at Distilled

At this event Derby attire is strongly encouraged – so it might be time to go through your closet! The special drinks served on Derby night include a Brown Derby of Bourbon with tart grapefruit juice and honey and a Derby Shrub of bourbon steeped with chamomile blossoms and mixed with herbal amaro bitters, mint and apricot shrub, a vinegar-based infusion. Sounds interesting!

Saturday May 3, 3-8 P.M.
Distilled, 221 W. Broadway
