This week, (Red) is the color of giving.

Through June 10, several restaurants around the city are taking part in “Eat (Red), Drink (Red), Save Lives” to support the (Red) foundation. And when one of its supporters is Iron Chef Mario Batali, you know these dishes aspire to greatness as well as a worthy cause.

Chefs will be cooking up red dishes and cocktails, pledging a portion of sales to The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. So stop by, make your mouth happy, and know that you’re contributing to life-saving projects.

15 E. 15th St.
Union Square’s Michelin-starred sushi haven will feature bluefin tuna in akami sashimi and toro tartare, with caviar sauce.

1191 First Ave.
Don’t swear off soup just because it’s summer. Stay cool with this Mexican spot’s tomato gazpacho with cucumber, pepper and cilantro.

209 E. 49th St.
Stop by for an after-work tipple at this Midtown East spot for a Spiked Hibiscus Lemonade, featuring Belvedere vodka, with housemade hibiscus powder on the rim.

1 E.15th St.
Chef Jason Lawless tosses tender beets with goat yogurt, toasted almonds, pomegranate, bergamot glaze and Meyer lemon vinaigrette for his roasted beets and citrus salad.

622 Third Ave.
Red Rooster alum Joel Harrington took the theme serious, serving up a totally red plate: “red cooked” pork belly, tea-smoked beet puree, radish and crimson-frill mustard green salad with crispy red onions.
