Mark your calendars: You can next satisfy that Harry Potter craving on November 18, 2016. Well, not specifically the craving for Harry himself. That’s the just-announced premiere date of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” the first in a planned series of movies scripted by the grand high priestess of HP herself, J.K. Rowling.

The name comes from a textbook mentioned in the first book, which Rowling later actually wrote for charity. The movies will take place in the Harry Potter universe, but not feature direct connections to Harry himself. The main character will be Newt Scamander, the author of the book, and the events will take place in New York 70 years before the events of the Potter series.

No word yet on casting, but fans can probably look forward to learning a whole lot about the American wizarding world in the movies. Who knows, maybe these movies will turn out to be the same magnet for impressive talent that the Potter movies did, as virtually every name in British moviemaking seemed to turn up at one point or another. Fingers crossed for a young Dumbledore cameo.
