Anna Wintour banned Kris Jenner and Real Housewives from Met gala

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour banned a number of celebrities from attending last week’s Met gala, including Kim Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner and all the Real Housewives, according to Radar.

“Anna approves every star who enters and although she finally relented on Kim, she drew the line at Kris, who was desperate to attend,” says a source.

It’s not surprising that Wintour, whose lofty standards are legendary, would slap a “Maximum Kardashian Occupancy: 1” sign on the Met gala. But wouldn’t it be kind of awesome to see what Kris Jenner wore? This year’s theme was punk, and Kris and the Real Housewives would have been some of the only attendees old enough to remember it.

Of course, this is hardly the worst Kardashian-related charity scandal of late: ESPN says Lamar Odom’s charity, Cathy’s Kids, which was started in 2004 in honor of Odom’s mother, who died from stomach cancer, has raised $2.2 million but not one cent has gone to cancer-related causes. Instead, it appears the money has gone to two things: the charity’s “executive,” Jerry DeGregorio, who happened to be the best man in Kardashian’s and Odom’s wedding, and two elite youth basketball travel teams. It’s important to note that none of the kids in that elite basketball team seems to be battling cancer in between traveling to games.
