The Word: Is ‘Game of Thrones’ star Emilia Clarke done with nudity?

Sorry, “Game of Thrones” fans, if 10 billion nude scenes weren’t enough for you, there may be fewer in the future.

At least one “Game of Thrones” star has had enough of baring her breasts, according to the New York Post.

“One of the girls in the show who got her [dress] off the most in the first couple of seasons now doesn’t at all,” GoT star Oona Chaplin, who plays Talisa Maegyr, told reporters.  “She said, ‘I want to be known for my acting, not for my breasts.’ ”

Oona didn’t specify who she was referring to, but Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, certainly fits: She sure used to go naked on the show, and she sure doesn’t anymore. What’s more, she’s received some uncomfortable attention for her nudity of late: Her Broadway production of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” had to increase security to prevent frenzied audience members from filming her brief nude scene, according to Gawker.

The “Game of Thrones” team may not have noticed the Clarke twins’ absence, since they’re currently working on another show. “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” writer and star Rob McElhenney doesn’t let many outsiders get their mitts on his little production, but he did make one surprising exception: One episode next season will be written by “Game of Thrones” showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

The two shows couldn’t be more different — one is about morally bankrupt characters struggling for power, the other is “Game of Thrones” — but apparently Benioff and Weiss are such big fans of “It’s Always Sunny” that McElhenney just had to give them a shot. “If ur wondering whether or not Benioff and Weiss wrote an episode of Sunny this year the answer is, of course, yes,” he tweeted.
