The Word: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson call it quits

The “Twilight” stars have been dating for about three years.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have broken up again after more than three years of dating.

Sort of. Maybe. For a few minutes.

They’re taking a break, according to E! Online, but they may well start things up again. Though they are super heartbroken and sad, they will continue to share a house “because of the dogs,” according to a source.

Look. Rob. Kristen. Break up, don’t break up, do what makes you happy. But if I could offer one little piece of advice? Two people who refuse to stop cohabitating because of the potential emotional trauma to their dogs are quite possibly soulmates, and should strongly consider staying together forever in doggy harmony.

Mr. Anonymous Source agrees: They’ll be “back together in no time,” he says. That, or they’ll bring their golden retrievers to intensive family therapy.

Rob and Kristen recently celebrated Kristen’s 23rd birthday by crashing a record release party for Hanson at L.A. nightspot No Vacancy. The birthday girl arrived around 11 p.m. with Robert Pattinson and about 10 friends in tow, though it was unclear if they knew ahead of time about the band’s party. “They weren’t overly affectionate or anything, but at points they were standing together as they talked to friends,” a source says of Stewart and Pattinson.
