After rumors earlier this week, it’s now confirmed that Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio will judge “The X Factor” next season. They’ll join Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato on the panel. “It’s taken more than a decade, but I’m delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls (I think!),” Cowell told Us Weekly. “Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different.”

Mexican singing star Rubio sounds like she’s not planning to take any lip from Cowell. “Simon, be careful what you wish for! Let’s see if you are ready to handle me. Empieza la fiesta, amigo!” she said.

Both Rowland and Rubio have previous singing judging experience: Rubio appeared on the Mexican show “La Voz,” and Rowland co-hosted the highest-rated season of the UK version of “The X Factor.” It should be fun to watch them on the American “X Factor” if only to see whether they can remember which show they’re on.

Rowland is also finally going public about how it feels to live in Beyonce’s shadow in her new song, “Dirty Laundry.”

The song is a raw, angry account of surviving an abusive relationship and watching Beyonce become a superstar and leave her behind.
