The Word: Mel B says there could be another Spice Girls album

Could there be more Spice Girls music on its way? Melanie Brown, aka Mel B, aka Scary Spice, isn’t denying it.

Mel, who’s also a judge on “America’s Got Talent” in addition to her very important Spice duties, spoke to E! News, and she didn’t deny the possibility of more Spice music. “Well, you know what, nobody thought we were going to get together last year to do the Olympics, and so, I always say I’m not gonna say anything,” she said. “Just let whatever happens, happen. Why say ‘yes’ just yet? But maybe.”

Mel also talked her fellow “Talent” judges and says she and Heid Klum are tight. “I’ve known her for a few years. So we get along like a house on fire.”

Their co-judge Howard Stern, however, hasn’t mellowed. “He’s completely inappropriate all the time,” Mel says. “It’s what he does. It’s Howard.”

Not everyone seems to be in favor of more Spice Girls, however. The girl group’s West End musical, “Viva Forever!,” which features their songs, closed after four months due to slow ticket sales.

“Viva Forever!” — which maybe should be retitled to “Viva Temporary!” — was scheduled to run until February 2014, but it will now close next month. Geri Halliwell has expressed her disappointment via Twitter. “We love u  all Viva Forever, what a shock, gutted,” she wrote.
