The Word: Jennifer Aniston is a chicken farmer now

A sign of affection, or a hint at a baby bump? Whatever Jen (in Valentino) and Justin were doing, they looked hot doing it.
A sign of affection, or a hint at a baby bump? Whatever Jen (in Valentino) and Justin were doing, they looked hot doing it.

Jennifer Aniston’s swanky new Bel Air mansion has everything: A pool, a guesthouse, spacious grounds, and also some chickens.

Construction on Jen’s new home includes a chicken coop, according to aerial photos obtained by the Daily Mail. Chickens aren’t particularly cuddly, so it’s a little hard to see what Jen gets out of the arrangement. Fresh eggs are nice and all, but isn’t the whole point of being a movie star that you will never, ever have to be a farmer?

Apparently, though, this is something of a trend down Hollywood way. Other stars with chickens in their backyards include Ellen Pompeo, Reese Witherspoon, and (of course) Martha Stewart, according to E! Online. The movie stars presumably stop at chickens, but I would not be surprised to learn that Martha keeps a herd of cattle in her backyard.

Jennifer’s ex Brad Pitt recently opened up about his current relationship with Angelina Jolie as well as his ex-marriage to Jennifer.

“For a long time I thought I did too much damage – drug damage. I was a bit of a drifter. I went years fucking off. But then I got burnt out and felt that I was wasting my opportunity. It was a conscious change. This was about a decade ago. It was an epiphany – a decision not to squander my opportunities. It was a feeling of get up. Because otherwise, what’s the point?”
