Mark Wahlberg and Michael Bay were evacuated from the “Transformers 4″ set last night when a small fire started during the shoot. The robot sequel was filming at a house in Pflugerville, Texas yesterday. Wahlberg and others smelled smoke, and a crew member rushed upstairs to find the attic was on fire.

Wahlberg and the rest of the cast and crew took as much of the shoot’s equipment out as they could as they evacuated the house. Austin and Pflugerville firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze. Only one person was injured.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, but one crew member told E! Online that they were filming a small, controlled explosion at the time.

Wahlberg replaces Shia LaBoeuf as the “Transformers” series star, but LaBoeuf told Metro he’s ready to move on.

“For me, it’s always the first and last time, every time I’m on set. I didn’t commit less to ‘Indiana Jones’ or less to ‘Transformers.’ It’s just different sensibilities,” he says. “If you asked an 18-year-old what they want to do with their life, and the options are ‘Transformers’ or Lars von Trier, he’s probably shipping out for ‘Transformers.’ If you ask a 26-year-old what he wants to do, ‘Transformers’ or Lars von Trier, he’d probably pick Lars von Trier. So, my sensibilities are changing as I change.”
