Sandra Bullock is in talks to star in “Annie” as orphanage manager Miss Hannagan. The upcoming film adaptation stars “Beasts of the Southern Wild” actress Quvenzhane Wallis as Annie and Jamie Foxx as Benjamin Stacks, a new character who replaces Daddy Warbucks.

As awesome as it would be to see America’s Sweetheart drunk and roaring at orphans, Bullock isn’t a lock to join the “Annie” cast yet – in fact, she already turned down the role once before returning to the negotiating table, according to The Wrap. With Will Smith producing and Emma Thompson cowriting the script, the film is amassing serious star power both behind and in front of the camera.

Sandra’s ex Jesse James recently tied the knot for the fourth time, marrying drag racer Alexis DeJoria in Malibu last weekend after dating for less than two months, according to Star magazine. James’ most recent marriage — to Sandra Bullock — ended in divorce in 2010 after his infidelity came to light. DeJoria is the daughter of billionaire Paul Mitchell co-founder John Paul DeJoria, who also helped launch Patron tequila and the House of Blues nightclub chain. “Jesse’s always had a man-crush on John Paul, and what better way to get close to him than to get hitched to his daughter?” a source says.
