Kristen Stewart wants to read books other than “Twilight,” it seems.

The “Twilight” star has enrolled in a correspondence course at UCLA, where she plans to study English literature.

“Yes, Kristen’s a Tinseltown actress worth millions but she is already considering a life after film. She never got to complete college and she wants to get a proper education,” a source tells the Daily Mirror.

“It won’t be easy and it will mean putting in some fairly strenuous hours. But once she’s graduated, Kristen will be able to do almost anything she wants, in or out of Hollywood.”

Ah yes, the coveted English literature degree. What door can’t it open? An international movie star is nothing without it.

Despite her own years of troubles, Lindsay Lohan didn’t hesitate to take playful swings at other celebs when she guest hosted Chelsea Lately. After a story about Kristen blowing up at the paparazzi, Lohan joked, “I’m just excited that Kristen Stewart finally showed some emotion.”

Classic Lohan burn! She’s been in rehab for a while, so she probably doesn’t know that’s a somewhat tired Kristen Stewart joke. Lindsay quickly clarified, “No, I love her, I’m a Kristen Stewart fan.” She added, “Of course she hates photographers. You know they caught a picture of her kissing a married man in a Mini Cooper.”
