Lindsay Lohan’s career post-rehab seems to be picking up where it left off a decade or so ago. She’s buddies with Oprah, she sat in for Chelsea Handler and now she’s guest starring on “Eastbound & Down.”

OK, so she’s not quite back to “Mean Girls” level yet, but still, progress is being made. And she seems happy about it. “#back@work! So grateful today! :)” she posted on an Instagram selfie on Tuesday.

According to E!, Lindsay will play the daughter of one of “Eastbound & Down”‘s main characters. In a flash-forward to many years in the future, we’ll see her on her wedding day.

Lindsay Lohan had a steady stream of visitors while in rehab, including Ben Affleck, who was reportedly considering her for a role in his upcoming film, “Live by Night,” a fellow patient of Lohan’s tells Radar Online.

“Lindsay was excited about the opportunity, telling me that she was going to have dark hair in the movie and would have an Irish accent,” the source says. “She tried to tell me he was being flirty with her, but that’s just Lindsay’s way of embellishing because she constantly needs attention.”
