California is on fire, the NSA is reading our Gchats, and Miley Cyrus won’t stop twerking on people. But cheer up, it’s not all bad news out there: Amy Poehler and Tina Fey might host the Golden Globes again next year.

Precious sunbeams of comedy and feminism Fey and Poehler hosted this spring’s Globes and were an utter delight. Check out their monologue below.

There’s been no official announcement that they’ll return, but according to Deadline, NBC and Dick Clark Productions have reached out to gauge their interest. Of course it’s far from locked down, since they’re both extremely busy ladies — Amy stars in “Parks and Recreation,” Tina is developing a slew of new shows, I am pretending I am on a first-name basis with both of them — but I hope they can find the time to put on some sparkly dresses and call Quentin Tarantino the star of their sexual nightmares.

Fey, at least, should sign on again: She says the Globes are good for her personal hygiene.

“I’ve got to get out of the house,” she told David Letterman (on whose show she looked great, by the way). “I have not combed my hair since the Golden Globes.”
