The Word: Watch a fan hug-tackle Beyonce off the stage

Beyonce had a concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Sunday, where one fan’s love ran away with him. And very nearly ran away with Beyonce.

Queen B was doing that thing where she walks around a platform singing directly to fans, when one shirtless man, perhaps driven to hysteria by her blue sparkly jumpsuit, tried to give her a hug and ended up pulling her halfway off the stage.

Security quickly moved in to separate them, and Beyonce carried on singing almost seamlessly, because she’s probably used to people loving her so much they forget themselves. Check out the video below and ask yourself, really ask yourself, if you could have been any more restrained than that gentleman, or if you, too, would have tried to scoop her up and run off with her. I don’t think any of us can know until we’re two feet from Beyonce.

But as we all know, Beyonce already has a man in her life, with whom she spent the weekend celebrating another famous couple’s nuptials.

LeBron James officially became a married man Saturday. The basketball star married Savannah Brinson, his high school sweetheart, in San Diego. The star-studded guest list included Beyonce and Jay Z, as well as James’ teammate Dwayne Wade and girlfriend Gabrielle Union, and NBA players Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony.
